7 Ways to Motivate Yourself & Positively Change Your Life

The secret of motivation is that it begins within you. Your mindset, ability and attitude are the main things that measures the level of your motivation. Motivation and shower has few things in common, they are both basic human needs and you can never get enough of them; that is why they are recommended daily.

Your perspective about life can be another factor which can determine the level of your motivation. That is why it is always good to cultivate and maintain positive mindset, positive mindset will make you optimistic always even in the face of adversity, and it will keep you happy and motivated.

Motivation will increase your overall productivity and keep your creative juice flowing always in all aspects of life. You will be able to live more intentionally, while doing more of the things you love and you will experience more freedom in your life, knowing that you are the master of your own destiny.

Genuine motivation can never be found in external sources, it can only be found in your inner resources and potentials. According to my experience, you can stay motivated by practicing the following life principles.

Work on your attitude: Attitude is the basis of motivation. achieving success, dealing with failure and challenges in life depend on your attitude. Your perspective about life really matters a lot and having a positive outlook about life is the best.

Live intentionally: You own your life and you must admit that fact. You must take ownership and control of your life. No one can make you happy, sad, overwhelmed or motivated without your consent. Living intentionally will keep you motivated.

Get rid of negativity: Delete “I can’t and Impossible” from your brain dictionary. Forget your weaknesses and focus on your strengths. Failure and challenges? No, talk and think about chance and success; above all maintain positive mindsets.

Keep the momentum: Albert Einstein said “Life is like riding a bicycle, to keep your balance you must keep moving” and F.D. Roosevelt also quoted “There are many ways of going forward, but only one way of standing still”. Motivation is a movement.

Stay Committed: Commitment is another factor that boost motivation. In time of decision and challenges that may arise, make sure you stick to your plans and stay committed to your goals. Anything worth having is worth fighting for; be resilient.

Make Time: Always make time for yourself, to do things you love doing which will positively benefit your life and help you stay motivated. We all have the same time to spend in a week anyway, but how we use it are different. Make good use of your 168!

Take Responsibility: Accept any consequences that may come your way, don’t play blame game. taking responsibility for your failure is an opportunity for growth and learning, which will empower you to move on and keep you motivated.
