I’d like to share few tips on how to improve your self-esteem with positive thinking, below are the few tips you can practice daily to improve your self-esteem:
Shun! Your inner critic: Stop listening to your inner critic, because it will try to demoralize you with all sorts of negativity, but the good thing is that you have absolute dominion over it to make it positive.
Positive Motivation: Motivate yourself positively using positive affirmations and remain optimistic in all your endeavors, maintaining a positive mindset is the best thing.
Self-compassion: Always practice self-love and learn to appreciate yourself, because if you don’t love and take care of yourself it can be hard for someone else to do those for you.
Keeping journal: Always take time to write down your attributes and potentials, it’s not only good for record purpose but it also helps in keeping your mind on good things about you and how you can use them to transform your life positively.
Accurate accomplishments: Doing the right things greatly help raise your self-esteem and it will encourage you in keeping up the good works in your academic, career and life as a whole.
Restrain Perfection: Quit trying to be perfect, no one has ever been. The stress of a perfectionist can be horrible. Do your best, leave the rest & move on to something else.
Failure is not the end: Accept that mistakes and failure are part of life, “to err is human” and you have to forgive yourself instead of blaming yourself or others. You have to learn from failures as they are opportunity for growth. See failure as success in disguise and the only time you fail is when you quit or give up on your goals.
Practice kindness: Treat others the way you would like to be treated, be kind to others irrespectively and they will reciprocate with kindness.
